Retrocompatibility ?

Is it still going to use the ATmega328? Just a simple screen change?

hold on... how long did it take for the gamebuino to get this many games?? It's going to take way longer to make the games in color, why not just let retro compatibility happen to save the hassle and play our classics

It will be nice if old games will run on the new gamebuino ,because for a long time there will be way more games for the oreginal gamebuino than the meta.

Watch the Kickstarter video, it shows an old game being played! I guess the old games will just have to be recompiled for the new processor?

To be fair, nobody would buy the old gamebunio if its retro-compatible but I REALLY hope it is

There is always room for the older hardware. People buy Gameboys till these days even though the advance version is retro compatible, you also have to consider the price and the use  one might have for it. There are other examples from the past, but I get your point, maybe on a niche handheld, that kind of action won´t happen as similar as with the big boys.
